What if your workout felt more like a playground?
This ten-week series combines classical Pilates mat, creative movement and dance, and reflective inquiry for fitness, curiosity, and connection. Each class blends Pilates mat with simple, playful exercises, drawing from tai chi, dance improvisation, and game-like activities, all guided by the question of: What if? Group and individual reflections unfold through conversation and journaling prompts. Rooted in research on play and movement in knowledge-making, this space offers a supportive environment that welcomes everyone—non-dancers, Pilates newcomers, and professionals alike. Join the full series or drop by when you can. The aim is to cultivate health, resilience, and community by collectively exploring and celebrating our unique physical and sensory perspectives, recognizing each person’s embodied experience as a superpower.

"Let’s Dance It Out"

I’m excited to be working with “Let’s Dance It Out” (LDIO), a dance and movement program for neurodiverse teens and adults, focusing on the emotional, cognitive, and social benefits of dance to facilitate freedom of creative and artistic expression. LDIO is associated with the nonprofit Arts & Healing Initiative, founded in 2004 to transform lives through the innate power of the arts, guided by mental health practices, to foster healing, connection, and resilience for all.
